PHAs are the new generation of exfoliants, bigger molecules, slower penetration, zero sting. Gluconolactone gently resurfaces while hydrating and calming the skin.

Niacinamide

Retinoids Or Tretinoin
I love retinol. But not with Lotion P50T, especially if your skin is already sensitive. Using both can overwhelm your skin’s barrier, causing flaking, redness, and inflammation.
Give each one its own night (at least 24 hours apart), or alternate days.
Strong Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)
While vitamin C can be brilliant for brightening, layering it with acids like those in Lotion P50T often leads to irritation. You’re essentially over-acidifying the skin.
If you’re using L-ascorbic acid serums, apply them in the morning and keep Lotion P50T at night.
Other AHAs/BHAs
Lotion P50T already contains lactic acid, citric acid, gluconolactone, and sodium salicylate. Adding a second exfoliating serum or acid toner is like putting your skin on double time, and it usually backfires. More isn’t better.
Fragranced Oils
Essential oils and fragrance-heavy products may smell lovely, but they’re known to trigger reactions when used alongside acids. I see this mistake often in clients using natural or “clean” skincare.
